Own a Piece of Your Co-op This September
You already shop here. You might as well own the place!
September is our Ownership Drive at the Fredericksburg Food Co-op, and if you’ve ever wondered what it actually means to become an owner, this is a pretty great month to make it official.
When you become an owner, you’re doing more than signing up for a few perks. You’re investing in a grocery store that is owned by the people who shop here and helping support a stronger local food system and Co-op community right here in Fredericksburg.
A few extra perks for September
Become a new Co-op owner during September and you’ll receive:
- $5 off a future purchase of $25+
- Entry into our Ultimate Co-op Swag Bag drawing
- A free Fredericksburg Food Co-op canvas tote when you pay your ownership investment in full
And your owner benefits don’t end when September does. Owners also save 10% on their entire purchase during Owner Appreciation Weekends and have a voice in the future of their Co-op.
So, what does it take to become an owner?
A one-time $200 ownership investment covers your household and can be paid in full or incrementally.
And just to clear up one of the biggest misconceptions about food co-ops: you never have to be an owner to shop here. Everyone is always welcome! Ownership is simply an opportunity to take your relationship with the Co-op one step further.
